Roman Bednar
Joined Hearts from FBK Kaunas in 2005 and made his debut under George Burley. Helped the Tynecastle club to second place in the SPL and Scottish Cup glory. Now with West Brom.
Lubomir Blaha
Giant striker who made two SPL starts for Aberdeen in 2004/05 after signing from Slovan Liberec. Subsequently had spells at a number of clubs including Zizkov and Dukla Prague.
Tomas Cerny
The Hamilton goalkeeper has been a big success in Scotland following his move from Sigma Olomouc in 2007. Initially brought in on loan, the 26-year-old has been capped at U21 level.
Jiri Jarosik
The former Celtic midfielder joined Sparta Prague last month. Now 33, he has also turned out for Chelsea, Birmingham, CSKA Moscow and Real Zaragoza.
Zdenek Kroca
Defender who was snapped up by Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels from Conference side Luton during the summer. Previously played with Zlin in his homeland but is uncapped.
Michal Pospisil
Scored some important goals for Hearts following his move from Slovan Liberec in 2005 although injuries hampered his progressed. Now 32, he plays for Grindavik in Iceland.
Libor Sionko
Midfielder who had a spell at Rangers under Paul Le Guen before moving on to FC Copenhagen. Now with Sparta Prague, his previous clubs include Austria Vienna and Banik Ostrava. Netted twice when the Czech Republic beat Scotland 3-1 in a 2008 friendly.
Rudi Skacel
The attacking midfielder was a huge hit at Hearts in their successful 2005/06 season and is now back at Tynecastle for a second spell. Joined Southampton and later had stints at Hertha Berlin, Slavia Prague and Larissa in Greece.
Ludek Straceny
One-time Sparta Prague goalkeeper who had a short spell with Hearts in 2006 before returning to the Czech Republic to join Viktoria Zizkov.
