Dargo contemplates future

Coaching course adds options for striker

Dumbarton’s Play-Off hero Craig Dargo has stalled on signing a new deal at the Sons as he would ideally like to stay full time in the game or have a playing and coaching role.

Dargo netted 7 times in his two month spell in the Second Division and he said, “I am grateful to Dumbarton for the contract offer but I have a few decisions to make. My short time there is my only period that I have been part-time in football and I would like another crack at being a full-timer.”

“I also would like to move into coaching at some stage in my career and obviously I have prepared for that with attending Largs. I will take a week or so to decide what I want to do next. I am not closing the door on Dumbarton I just need some time to make up my mind.”
