Stewart Petrie has been voted Manager of the Month and forward Martin Rennie has been named Player of the Month after scoring in all four matches he took part in, including a stunning free-kick against Raith Rovers.
Montrose beat East Fife (2-0), Raith Rovers (3-2) and Stenhousemuir (3-1) and drew 1-1 with leaders Arbroath. Their only defeat during December was 2-1 away to Forfar Athletic.
Petrie led the Links Park club to the League 2 title last season and they are just two points outside the play-off places going into today's game at Stranraer.
