Defender Neil McGregor, who played in the SPL last season for Dundee, has signed for junior side Hurlford United.
The 28-year-old, who hails from Ayrshire, started his career at Kilmarnock and he went on to play for Clyde and Dunfermline before joining the Dark Blues in the summer of 2011.
McGregor played in over 30 games for the Dens Park men before joining Ayr United on loan in February.
However despite interest from senior sides he has opted to continue his playing career at the Blair Park club who have just been promoted to the top flight in the West Region.
A spokesperson for Hurlford said: “We are delighted to have secured a player of Neil’s experience. We are sure he will be a great asset to us in the Premier League.”
