Deila sets Europa target

Celtic play their second game in Europa League Group D against Dinamo Zagreb this evening.

Celtic play their second game in Europa League Group D against Dinamo Zagreb this evening.

The match is live on BT Sport, kick-off 8.05pm, and Ronny Deila's men are looking to build on their 2-2 draw away to Salzburg a fortnight ago.

Dinamo started with a 5-1 home win over Romanian side Astra, who Celtic face in a double header on matchday three and four.

Parkhead boss Ronny Deila said: "The target is to get through and to do that we need 10 points. Home games are very important and if we win the home games we will have 10 points.

"Everything is possible but to win the Europa League would be an unbelievable achievement. To go through to the knockout stage is something we want to do and it will test us.”

On-loan Manchester City striker John Guidetti, who scored twice against St Mirren at the weekend, is ineligible and Deila added: "Of course we want to have every player available but we knew when we signed him that he couldn't play in Europe so we won't use any energy on that.

"We have a big squad so we will have a good team - we have a lot of strikers and they will get a chance, so that is a positive."
