Seb Ross netted twice in Aberdeen's 4-2 win over Hibernian at Glebe Park and Partick Thistle beat Ross County 3-2 in Dingwall with a late Kevin Nisbet winner.

Falkirk saw off Kilmarnock 3-1 while the match between Hearts and Celtic was postponed due to international call-ups.

Morton lead the Development League West following a 3-0 win at Albion Rovers and Queen of the South are second on goal difference after a 2-1 victory away to East Kilbride.

Development League East champions Raith Rovers began their 2017/18 campaign with a 1-1 draw away to Stirling Albion.
