Airdrieonians defender Grant Drummond had surgery last week to fix a knee problem that has kept him out for four months.
The 19-year-old was injured in a game against Dunfermline in November and manager Gary Bollan is looking forward to having the centre-back in his plans for 2014/15.
Bollan said: “Grant has a lot of potential and I look forward to having him fit for selection. It will be next season before he is available but he has a good future ahead of him in the game.”
