Airdrieonians have agreed to let all children under 12 into their home games for free after the Supporters Trust stepped in to fund the initiative.
The Diamonds have eight home games of their scheduled League 1 season left and the offer is available to both their supporters and visiting fans.
Club Secretary Ann Marie Ballantyne said: “The Club are delighted with the Supporters Trust Initiative to sponsor free child places. New young fans are needed by all clubs, not just ourselves, and this initiative helps meet that need.
“These young fans are the next generation of supporters and it is important that we try to strengthen the bond between them and ourselves.”
