Airdrieonians manager Gary Bollan has got back to work quickly after agreeing a two-year extension to his contract by re-signing six players.
Captain John Boyle, Nathan Blockley, Paddy Boyle, Jim Lister and Liam Watt have signed on, with impressive 17-year-old Scott Stewart being rewarded with a professional contract.
Stewart is the son of former Diamonds manager Sandy Stewart and starred in a midfield role as Bollan’s men climbed off the bottom of the table and into sixth place.
Bollan said: “I am delighted to get these players signed on again. We had a great second half to the season but we cannot sit back. We have to push forward.”
