New St Mirren signing Eric Djemba-Djemba is hoping to earn a place in Cameroon's World Cup squad for Brazil this summer.
The 32-year-old former Manchester United midfielder was unveiled by the Paisley club this morning after a spell with Partizan Belgrade.
Volker Finke's Cameroon face the hosts, Croatia and Mexico and Djemba-Djemba said: "I hope he will think about me if he needs my experience.
"I played in the team for eight and a half years from 2001 so if he needs me I will be happy to pull on the Cameroon shirt because it's a dream for everyone.
"I hope he will think about it but the decision is in my hands - to work, play and try to be called up for the World Cup."
