Ayr United player/manager Mark Roberts has told midfielder Michael Donald to watch his step when he returns to action as he does not want him banned for the run-in.
Donald missed the Honest Men’s last two games after being sent off against Arbroath a fortnight ago and Roberts has told him to be careful as he is one booking away from another ban.
He said: “Michael is a big player for us as he creates and scores goals from midfield. We only have a small squad so we want him available for the rest of the season.
“I don’t want him to change his game but hopefully he can avoid another booking.”
