Arbroath have signed forward Steven Doris on loan from Dundee until January 26 and he is set to go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game with Stranraer.
The 25-year-old spent four seasons at Gayfield and was a prolific scorer for the Red Lichties before moving to Dens Park in the summer.
He has now re-joined Paul Sheerin's team on a short-term deal as Arbroath bid to move up the League 1 table.
