Dunfermline Athletic have claimed the Ladbrokes Championship Manager and Player of the Month awards for August after a superb start to the season.
Allan Johnston was voted Manager of the Month and in-form winger Joe Cardle landed the top player accolade after netting five league goals in four matches.
The Pars were held to a 1-1 draw at Livingston in their opening game then beat Inverness Caley Thistle (5-1), Falkirk (3-1) and Dumbarton (4-0).
Dunfermline are a point clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship going into Saturday’s game against Morton at Cappielow.
