Former Queen’s Park coach Billy Ogilvie, who guided their second string to a Reserve League and Cup double last season, has been appointed manager of Lowland League side East Kilbride.
Ogilvie spent 11 years at Hampden and played a significant part in developing the talented players the Spiders are famous for, as well as leading their youth side to two Scottish Amateur Cup wins and U19 silverware.
There was a parting of the ways last month and Ogilvie has now accepted the challenge of managing East Kilbride in the wake of the departure of Iain King and Craig Young just days after they guided the club to the SFA South Region Challenge Cup.
