The final weekend in the Championship, League 1 and League 2 is set to be full of drama, with a three-way battle for the Championship title and a number of clubs striving to make, or avoid, the various play-offs.

A thrilling Saturday afternoon lies in store and the various permutations across the divisions are summarised below:

Scottish Championship
Dundee will be crowned champions if they beat Dumbarton at Dens Park. A draw will almost certainly be enough as Hamilton Accies, who are two points behind, would need to defeat Morton by an eight-goal margin to overhaul them. Falkirk can still take the title if Dundee lose and Hamilton don’t win but they must beat Alloa and also require a three-goal swing against Dundee. Two of Dundee, Hamilton, and Falkirk will be involved in the play-offs. Queen of the South need a draw at Cowdenbeath to be certain of finishing fourth but they are 12 goals better off than a Dumbarton team three points below them.

Morton have already been relegated. Cowdenbeath occupy the play-off place but can leapfrog Alloa if they win at home to Queen of the South and Alloa fail to beat Falkirk. A draw for Cowdenbeath and a defeat for Alloa would see the sides finish level on points but Alloa are seven goals better off. Raith Rovers have a theoretical chance of dropping into the relegation play-off but that could only happen if they lose at Livingston, Alloa and Cowdenbeath both win and there is an 11-goal swing to Cowdenbeath from Raith.

Scottish League 1
Rangers wrapped up the title in March and Dunfermline are secure in second place. Stranraer, who are third, are almost certain to make the play-offs – they are three points and nine goals better off than fifth-placed Stenhousemuir. Ayr United will make the cut if they beat East Fife at Somerset Park. If Ayr fail to win, then victory for Stenhousemuir at Brechin would see them claim fourth spot. An Ayr defeat and a Stenhousemuir draw would see the sides level on points but Ayr have a superior goal difference of seven. Forfar are also in contention but must win at Stranraer, hope Ayr lose and that Stenhousemuir lose or draw.

One of East Fife or Arbroath will be relegated, with the other going into the play-offs. Arbroath are bottom by one point but have the better goal difference so a draw at Airdrie will be enough to leapfrog East Fife, if they lose at Ayr. East Fife will finish ninth if they win and a draw will be enough unless Arbroath win.

Scottish League 2
Peterhead are champions and Annan and Clyde have booked their play-off places. They will be joined by either Stirling Albion or Berwick Rangers. The Binos require a point at home to Clyde but if they lose, and Berwick defeat Peterhead at Shielfield, then Colin Cameron’s side will finish fourth on goal difference.
