Falkirk defender Kieran Duffie, who has only featured once in the past six months due to a heel injury, is closing in on a top-team return.
The 22-year-old who has made nearly 150 appearances for the Bairns, and last played in April, had been making slow progress until he was sent to see a specialist earlier this month.
Technical director Alex Smith said: “Things are happening quickly now for Kieran, which is great news. Hopefully, we will see him on the training field this week and start getting him ready for a first-team return next month.”
