Duffy praises McCluskey

Bully Wee boss delighted to have winger on board

Clyde boss Jim Duffy praised his latest signing, on-loan St Mirren winger Jamie McCluskey, for his performance against Arbroath on Tuesday night, although he realises that the 23 year old is going to frustrate him at times.

Jamie McCluskeyDuffy said of the former Hibs and St Johnstone player who has joined until the end of the season, “Jamie is an entertainer and he will hopefully light up the Third Division. Some football managers want players who will run in straight lines but Jamie does not offer that, he offers something totally different. He dribbles everywhere, in fact he dribbles in places I wish he wouldn’t dribble in, but I am not going to change him as I am sure that everyone at Clyde will enjoy him being here.”

“He will enjoy it too as he has a good pitch to play on and people that will encourage him to take chances.”
