Dundee’s second string have done all they can to win the first ever SPFL Reserve League but they will need to wait and see how challengers Queen’s Park get on in their next two games.
The Dark Blues beat Annan 3-0 on Monday night thanks to goals from Leighton McIntosh, Calvin Colquhoun and Craig Wighton to move four points clear of the Spiders.
The Glasgow side, who also have a superior goal difference of 10, face Raith Rovers and Ayr United in their remaining games, with a win and a draw required to ensure their success.
