Dundee have appointed former Celtic striker Gerry Creaney as Head of Youth Development.
The 44-year-old played for a number of other clubs during his career, including Portsmouth, Manchester City and St Mirren, and was capped by Scotland at U21 level.
After hanging up his boots, Creaney qualified as an accountant and did his coaching badges, as well as spending time as assistant manager of Bellshill Athletic.
Dundee managing director John Nelms told the club website: "He possesses all of the attributes needed for a modern-day Head of Youth.
“From the craft knowledge of the football side to the minute detail of the admin side, I believe his skills will help us achieve the high level development programme we've outlined."
