Dundee have signed former Motherwell striker David Clarkson.
The 28-year-old, capped twice for Scotland, left Fir Park for Bristol City in 2009 and had a spell at Bristol Rovers before returning north in the summer.
Manager Paul Hartley told the club website: "He hasn't really played as a main striker for a few years but we see him as a centre forward.
"He has a good goal return at this level and impressed us over the few weeks we had him in training."
