Dunfermline have made goalkeeper David Hutton their fifth summer signing after he left Ladbrokes League 1 rivals Ayr United at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has also previously played for Clyde, Queen of the South, Hamilton Accies and Morton and joins fellow new boys Jason Talbot (Livingston), Callum Fordyce (Livingston), Ben Richards-Everton (Partick Thistle) and Michael Paton (Queen of the South) at East End Park.
Pars boss Allan Johnston told the club website: "We have a young back four and he just brings that wee bit of composure at the back. He is not the tallest but he is agile.
"Hutts is a great signing and has done really well in the pre-season games - now it is up to him to make sure that he stays in the team. We will be bringing in another keeper so it is up to him.
"It is about competition - it is the same for every position - we need competition for places and hopefully that can spur us on to be really successful this year."
