Dunfermline Athletic beat Greenock Morton 2-1 at Cappielow on Friday night to climb to fourth place in the cinch Championship and leave the Greenock side bottom of the table.
Owen Moffat opened the scoring for James McPake's men inside 30 seconds and the on-loan Blackpool winger struck again after seven minutes for his second senior goal.
Morton pulled one back with a 78th-minute penalty from Steven Boyd and Dougie Imrie's team had chances to equalise but the Pars held on for an important win.
