The name of Durie is to return to the team-sheet of East Fife for the first time in nearly 26 years after defender Scott Durie followed in the footsteps of his father Gordon and signed for the New Bayview club. The 18 year old, who has been on the books of another of his attacking Dad’s clubs Rangers for the past five years had been training at Dumbarton however Steve Crawford has stepped in to clinch his signature on a one year deal.
