Aberdeen are through to the third qualifying round of the Europa League after a memorable 2-1 win over Groningen on Thursday night.
Following a 0-0 draw at Pittodrie in the first leg, Adam Rooney's penalty and a Niall McGinn effort had the Dons two goals up after half an hour in Holland.
The Dutch side pulled one back before the break through Maikel Kieftenbeld but Derek McInnes' men held on and can now look forward to two huge games against Real Sociedad of Spain.
McInnes said: “It was a special night for the supporters and a big result but this team always puts in a shift and I always felt we could win here.”
