Jason Kerr, on loan from St Johnstone, got the only goal five minutes from time as Barry Smith's men continued their good run of form.

Second-placed Alloa Athletic closed the gap on Livi to seven points with a 2-1 home win over bottom club Stenhousemuir. Thomas Grant cancelled out Dylan Mackin's opener but Greig Spence converted a late penalty for the Wasps.

Airdrieonians claimed a dramatic 4-3 away win against Albion Rovers in the Lanarkshire derby thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Sean McIntosh. Jack Leitch, Andy Ryan and Iain Russell also scored for the Diamonds, with Rovers replying with a Ross Davidson goal and a Ryan Wallace double, one a penalty. Airdrie had Kyle Hutton sent off in the last minute.

Andy Jackson scored the only goal on the hour mark in a 1-0 win at Peterhead to keep Brechin City just outside the top four.

Stranraer and Queen's Park drew 1-1 at Stair Park. Ross Millen gave the Spiders the lead but Craig Malcolm equalised and the visitors had Adam Cummins sent off late on.
