East Fife beat Ladbrokes League 1 leaders Livingston 2-1 at Bayview on Hogmanay despite being behind at half-time.
Liam Buchanan opened the scoring but Jamie Insall equalised after 74 minutes and Scott Robinson won it three minutes later for Barry Smith’s men.
Fourth-placed Alloa were 4-2 winners at Stenhousemuir, who are back at the bottom of the table. Jordan Kirkpatrick netted a double for the Wasps, with Kevin Cawley and Greig Spence also on target at Ochilview. Alan Cook had scored first for Stenny and Oli Shaw got their second in stoppage time.
Stranraer are out of the relegation zone following a 1-0 win over Queen's Park at Hampden - Willie Gibson scored the only goal on the hour mark.
