East Stirlingshire appoint Honorary President

Robert Jack given new role at The Shire

East Stirling have announced that one of the most hard working members of their backroom staff over several decades, Robert Jack, has taken on the role of Honorary President of the club.

Robert JackJack is not only a long-time supporter of the Third Division side, he has also been a Director and Chairman as well as Groundsman and kit manager, a position he retired from in the summer.

Present Chairman Tony Ford said, “Robert’s loyalty to the Shire cause goes without question. When he retired from the job of kit manager we had feared we would not see as much of him as we would have liked but the Board feels that Robert has plenty to offer us and we hope that giving him this new role will allow him to remain very much part of the team.”
