Shire launch first Girls teams

East Stirlingshire have continued their growth as a community club in the Falkirk area by starting their first ever Girls’ sides.

The Shire have launched four teams that will be known as East Stirling Central Ladies and kitted them out with the same black and white gear that John Coughlin’s first team wear.

The girls’ sides will all be based at the Little Kerse Training Ground and Club Chairman Tony Ford said: “We have boys' teams playing under the East Stirling colours and we are delighted to now launch girls' teams as well.

“It is another step forward in our strategy of re-engaging our club with the local community.”
