East Stirlingshire sign Grant

East Stirlingshire have signed former Celtic and Dundee midfielder Charlie Grant until the end of the season. Grant played three games for the Shire last November as a trialist and signed a short term deal until the transfer window opened, however a run of postponements because of bad weather meant that he did not feature again.

A search to return to full time football both in Scotland and Ireland has proved fruitless for Grant and he has returned to Jim McInally’s side to put himself in the shop window again.

McInally said, “Charlie was a First Division player with Dundee at the start of the season but he was made redundant when they went into administration. He has also had some setbacks with injury and all he wants to do just now is to enjoy playing football again. Hopefully he can do that with East Stirling and help us win some matches.”
