Edinburgh City have signed Hibernian's teenage defender Ryan Porteous on loan until January as they gear up for the new season.
The Lowland League champions kick off 2016/17 with a Betfred Cup Group G tie against Livingston at Meadowbank Stadium on Wednesday July 20.
Boss Gary Jardine told the club website: "Ryan really impressed me when I saw him in action for Hibernian's development squad last season and the fact he has featured in the first-team squad in their pre-season friendlies shows how highly the management team at Easter Road rate him."
