Edinburgh City will compete in the SPFL next season after beating East Stirlingshire in the Ladbrokes League 2 play-off final.
The sides drew 1-1 at Meadowbank Stadium a week ago and the return leg at Ochilview seemed set for extra time until Dougie Gair converted a penalty with just three minutes left.
Gary Jardine's side will take their place in Ladbrokes League 2 for 2016/17, with Shire dropping into the Lowland League after the 2-1 aggregate defeat.
