+ Unbeaten Heart of Midlothian have won all nine home games in the Championship, scoring 30 goals and conceding five.

+ Hibernian's away record in the Championship this season is five wins and four draws, with 20 goals scored and 12 conceded.

+ Hearts won 2-1 when the sides met at Tynecastle on August 17 thanks to goals from Sam Nicholson and Prince Buaben (penalty) before Farid El Alagui pulled one back.
