Craig Gunn opened the scoring from the penalty spot and Jim Weir's men sealed the victory when Brian Cameron struck late on.

East Fife dropped to second spot after losing 3-0 to Queen's Park at Hampden. John Carter got the opener and both Paul Woods and Chris Duggan netted in stoppage time.

Clyde moved into the top four with their third win in a week - 1-0 away to Arbroath. A Craig Wilson own goal proved decisive and both sides ended with 10 men after Ricky Little and David Gormley saw red before the break.

Stirling Albion hit back to draw 2-2 at Annan thanks to goals from Lewis McLear and Sean Dickson (penalty) after Lewis Guy and Josh Todd had scored for Jim Chapman's team.

Berwick Rangers moved five points clear of the relegation play-off place with a 1-0 win over Montrose at Shielfield - Blair Henderson got the goal.
