Football fans in the UK and overseas will be able to enjoy coverage of the Elgin City v Rangers League game live on RangersTV.tv this weekend.

Ally McCoist is all smiles as the Rangers manager promotes the RangersTV.tv coverage of the Elgin City match.Rangers were pioneers in 2009 when they became the first football club in the UK to launch a dedicated online TV station and then again in 2011 when they were the first club in Britain to show an SPL game and Europa League qualifier live worldwide.

On Saturday 17 November the club was at the forefront again by showing the East Stirlingshire v Rangers match live in the UK and overseas and Saturday’s Third Division game at Borough Briggs will also be available live to fans around the globe on the club's online TV station.

The match is not live on SKY or ESPN but will be available live on RangersTV.tv inside and outside the UK at a special pay per view price of £5.99 while Rangers TV plus customers will receive the game as part of their package.

RangersTV Plus packages also include access to all RangersTV programming, on demand matches, player features, and unique feature programming. RangersTV Plus monthly subscriptions are available for £12 and annual subscriptions for £96, supporters can subscribe at www.RangersTV.tv.

Fans are encouraged to order the game ahead of the matchday and to tune in to watch the pre-match programme which will start at 12noon, 30 minutes before kick-off.

The club hopes that further games will be available on RangersTV domestically for future away games which are not televised live by either Sky or ESPN.

Rangers Manager Ally McCoist, who was pictured promoting the game at Murray Park, commented: “Our fans have been nothing short of magnificent for the Club this season and I am delighted those who are not able to get a ticket for the Elgin game at Borough Briggs on Saturday will be able to enjoy it live on Rangers TV.tv inside and outside the UK.

“RangersTV.tv always broadcasts our games live to overseas fans and now we are pleased to offer our UK fans the chance to enjoy our live service.

“The live match against East Stirlingshire a few weeks ago proved very popular with supporters with thousands subscribing for the match and I am sure the Elgin game will be just as successful.

“Thanks should also go to the SFL and Elgin for their help and co-operation on this broadcast.”
