Elgin have Kaczan and Niven in charge for Montrose

Skippers take over at Borough Briggs

Elgin City will have two senior figures at the club, former captain Paul Kaczan and current skipper David Niven, in charge when they take on Montrose at Borough Briggs tomorrow.

Ross Jack left the club on Wednesday after 5 years in charge and the long serving playing duo are in charge until a replacement is found.

Kaczan joined Elgin in 2004 however has not played this season due to a troublesome hip injury with Niven, who has been at the club for 7 years, unlikely to feature this weekend due to a toe injury.

Club Director Martyn Hunter said: “Paul and David know the club well and they will help with the first team for the Montrose match.”
