Ex-Dundee goalkeeper changes career

Murray looks to become PC

Scott MurrayFormer Dundee goalkeeper Scott Murray, who won the SFL’s Young Player of the Month for January 2006 whilst keeping goal for the Dark Blues as a 17 year old, has joined the ranks of the police force.

Murray played 25 times for Dundee before being released in 2008 and the 22 year old went on to play for Queen’s Park and Partick Thistle.

Murray said, “My last game was for Clyde in a pre-season friendly and I have decided to do something different now.”

Murray remains involved in football as he hopes to return to coaching the Rangers Women’s team and Queen’s Park Youths once his police career is established.
