Premiership-bound Hamilton Accies had more cause for celebration at the weekend when defender Martin Canning, midfielder Jon Routledge and striker Jason Scotland all signed new deals.
Canning is soon to enter his seventh season as an Accies player, with Routledge closing in on a century of games for the New Douglas Park side.
Trinidad and Tobago internationalist Scotland joined from Barnsley in January and scored the first goal in the play-off final comeback win over Hibernian.
The trio join Michael Devlin, Ziggy Gordon, Tony Andreu and Louis Longridge in agreeing new deals and player/ manager Alex Neil said: “I am really pleased with where we are in terms of building the squad. It is good to get players re-signed as quickly as possible.”
