Aberdeen's 7-2 win over Motherwell on Wednesday night was the ninth time a team had scored seven or more goals in an SPFL match.
Since the SPFL was established in the summer of 2013, Hamilton Accies and Heart of Midlothian have both hit 10 in a league game - a feat that hadn't previously been achieved since Rangers beat Raith Rovers 10-2 in the 1960s.
The biggest Premiership win was set last season when Celtic defeated Hamilton Accies 8-1 in a midweek match at Parkhead.
