Falkirk have signed 31-year-old former Dundee United and St Johnstone defender David McCracken, although he is unlikely to feature in Saturday's Championship clash at home to Morton.
McCracken, capped at U21 level by Scotland, played alongside Bairns boss Gary Holt at Wycombe and has also had spells with MK Dons, Brentford and Bristol Rovers.
Holt told the Falkirk website: "He is an excellent professional and a good organiser. He has great battling qualities and is a player you can depend on when the chips are down."
