It’s December and, as you open the first few doors of your advent calendar, there’s a first weekend of festive cinch Premiership football to enjoy.
GW15 is split evenly across Saturday and Sunday with plenty for Fantasy bosses to consider.
Top Shot Stoppers
While Jack Butland and Joe Hart sit top of the charts, players with lower budgets might look at Saturday’s Rugby Park clash for inspiration.
Zander Clark (£13m) and Will Dennis (£11.1m) are the leading goalkeepers outside the Old Firm with St Mirren’s Zach Hemming (£11.1m) making up the top five.
Would a £10.3m investment in Ross Laidlaw be worthwhile for GW15? The Ross County stopper faces a Livingston side which have had the fewest shots on target in the division.
Ones to Watch
How do you replace Lewis Miller? The Australian is amongst the game’s top 10 highest-scoring defenders but misses Hibernian’s clash with Aberdeen through suspension.
Dundee’s Owen Beck could be a strong replacement after scoring his first senior goal last time out. Kilmarnock’s Lewis Mayo (£9.4m) or Aberdeen’s Nicky Devlin (£9.5m) are also worth looking at.
Lawrence Shankland and Liam Boyce were the leading forwards last time out while Kyle Vassell’s return off the bench in Dingwall last week might tempt some bosses into selecting the Killie skipper.
More in the middle?
David Turnbull scored in all four of Celtic’s cinch Premiership games in November so will the midfielder be your top selection when the leaders head to McDiarmid Park on Sunday, live on Sky Sports?
Jamie McGrath and Joe Newell could face each other at Easter Road on Sunday as they bid to reach the 100-point mark in Fantasy Football. McGrath (92.2 points) has outscored Newell (87.3 points) but the Hibs man is cheaper with a £10.1m price tag compared to the Irishman’s £11.3m.
With three assists to his name, St Mirren’s Greg Kiltie has amassed 122.9 points and is the top scoring midfielder outside of Celtic or Rangers.
