The striker's Rugby Park double earned 21 points, moving him just ahead of Aberdeen's Jamie McGrath (20 points) in this week's rankings. McGrath has the consolation of being the game's highest scoring player after two rounds with 2 goals and 2 assists showing his value to Jimmy Thelin's new-look Dons.
Luke McCowan (19 points) is the beating heart of this Dundee team and his quality was on show with one goal and an assist as Tony Docherty's team defeated Heart of Midlothian 3-1 at home.
