Stenhousemuir midfielder Brown Ferguson has called time on his 16-year career to concentrate on his role as assistant manager to Scott Booth.
Ferguson started out at East Stirlingshire in 1998 and has also played for Alloa, Hamilton Accies and Partick Thistle.
The 33-year-old moved to Ochilview in 2011 and was made player/coach before becoming Booth's No 2 earlier this year.
He said: "I have had a great time playing football and would like to thank all the clubs I played for and my team-mates. I am looking forward to building a new career as a coach and cannot wait for the start of the new season."
