East Fife have signed former Livingston, Cowdenbeath and Arbroath striker Steven Weir from Australian side Shepparton South, who are based in Victoria.
The 22 year old has been in Australia since 2009 and he made his debut in Fife colours on Tuesday afternoon when he played for the full 90 minutes in a bounce game against Edinburgh City that John Robertson’s men won 2-1 thanks to goals from Bobby Linn and substitute Steve Hislop.
