Alloa midfielder Iain Flannigan is to undergo a scan on the back injury that has troubled him since he was a goalscoring hero against Hibernian.
The 26-year-old former Kilmarnock player notched the winner against the Edinburgh side at the end of August but has only managed a substitute appearance in the Petrofac Training Cup against Morton since then.
Manager Barry Smith said: “It has been a frustrating time for Iain and for us. We need to get to the root cause of the problem and that is the reason we have asked for a scan."
