Former Scotland, Celtic and Dundee goalkeeper Rab Douglas has been confirmed as one of four new signings at Second Division Forfar.
The 41-year-old has agreed a playing and coaching role with the Loons and is expected to make his debut on Saturday in the Ramsdens Cup tie against East Fife as Derek Soutar is injured.
Douglas was released by the Dark Blues in the summer after two separate stints at Dens Park and he joins Scotland Junior internationalist Neil McCabe, Stirling University player James Dale and the prodigal Bryan Deasley as new boys at Station Park.
McCabe, 23, previously played for Livingston and Cowdenbeath whereas 19 year old Dale is following the route that Danny Deholm took last summer in moving over from University football after impressing in Forfar’s pre-season friendlies.
Deasley is returning for a third stint at the club with the former Dundee player moving over from the junior ranks of Lochee United after leaving Peterhead last season.
Campbell said: “I am delighted with all my signings. I cannot wait for the season to start and I am sure that Rab's experience will be a help to us on and off the park.”
