Forfar stretch lead, first win for City

Andy Munro, Gavin Swankie and David Cox scored the goals as Gary Bollan's men got back to winning ways after a poor recent run.

Clyde moved level on points with second-placed Elgin City thanks to a 2-1 victory at Broadwood. David Gormley and Peter MacDonald scored early on but Darryl McHardy pulled one back in the second half.

Josh Skelly grabbed an injury-time winner as Arbroath came from behind to beat Annan Athletic 2-1 at Galabank. Steven Swinglehurst opened the scoring but Mark Whatley equalised and Skelly won it for the Red Lichties.

Bottom club Edinburgh City claimed their first league victory of the season, beating Montrose 1-0 at Links Park to move to within two points of Paul Hegarty's side. The vital goal was scored by Dougie Gair from the penalty spot after 64 minutes.

Cameron Muirhead struck in stoppage time as Cowdenbeath drew 1-1 away to Berwick Rangers, who had gone ahead through Greg Rutherford. Berwick had both Steven Thomson and Steven Notman sent off at Shielfield.
