Partick Thistle take on St Mirren at Firhill this evening in a game that is live on BT Sport at 7.45pm.
Alan Archibald's men go into the match on the back of a fine 3-1 win over Inverness Caley Thistle while Tommy Craig's team are still looking for their first point after a 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock last time out.
Jags boss Archibald told the club website: "It's been a great week. There's nothing better than to come in on a Monday having had a good result and a good performance. We have to get a level of consistency to our game and the home match gives us the perfect opportunity to do that.
"The St Mirren games that I've analysed so far this season haven't been games that they have played poorly in, I just don't think they have had the luck. A win gives us the chance to move 10 points ahead of them which is a great cushion at this stage of the season."
The four meetings last season produced an away win apiece and two draws, with the most recent encounter ending 1-1 at Firhill in April.
