Dramatic draw for Rovers, United held at Hampden

Raith Rovers remain five points clear at the top of the cinch Championship following an incredible 4-4 draw with Ayr United at Stark's Park this evening.

The visitors, who had Sean McGinty sent off just before half-time, were ahead three times but Lewis Vaughan completed his hat-trick in stoppage time for the late goal specialists.

Sam Stanton was also on target for Rovers, with Aiden McGeady, ‎Ben Dempsey, ‎Logan Chalmers and Ahkeem Rose all scoring for the Honest Men.

Second-placed Dundee United, who have a game in hand on the leaders, were held to a 0-0 draw by bottom club Queen's Park at Hampden.

Bonnyrigg Rose saw off East Fife 3-0 at Bayview in cinch League 2 with goals from Bradley Barrett, ‎Kerr Young and ‎Neil Martyniuk (penalty).
