Rangers Canadian defender Luca Gasparotto will have his loan spell at Stirling Albion cut short after being called up by his national side for the first ever time.
The 18-year-old, who has played twice for the Forthbank side will play against Queen’s Park this weekend before heading to Florida for a training camp.
Gasparotto will therefore miss the final game of his temporary spell when Stirling meet Berwick on January 18 with Manager Greig McDonald saying: “It is disappointing to lose Luca but good luck to him with Canada. I am sure he will want to leave on a high with a good performance against Queen’s Park.”
