Dundee United midfielder Ryan Gauld admits he can’t wait for Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup final against St Johnstone at Celtic Park.
The Tannadice club will be backed by around 28,000 fans as they bid to lift the trophy for the third time, having tasted success in 1994 and 2010.
The 18-year-old said: “You never know when your next cup final is going to be - you might only reach one in your career so I'm going to have to make sure I go out there, enjoy it, take it all in, and hopefully it won't be my last one.
"Everybody is just really looking forward to the game and Saturday can't come quick enough. We're ready to go and hopefully we can pick up a good result.
"If you go by league standings we're higher in the league, but if you're looking at head to heads, then obviously St Johnstone have the better of us, three to one this season.”
